Students donned pink and purple t-shirts and hoodies in order to ‘campaign in colour’ to raise awareness of organ donation. The campaign day was held at Cyncoed Campus, with the aim of raising the awareness of organ donation as well as providing plenty of opportunities for people to sign-up to the register. Around 25 students from the Welsh Society and Ladies Lacrosse team volunteered to get involved with the campaign, and set-up ‘sign up stations’ around campus. Various other activities took place throughout the day, including face and body painting, giant Jenga and connect 4 as well as a singing gorilla!

A massive 135 sign-ups were recorded on the day, with many more students taking leaflets away with them for their friends and family. Most importantly, the day helped to get students’ talking about organ donation- which is one of the main aims of the ‘tell a loved one’ campaign.
