The Music section of the Retro covers gig reviews, CD reviews, and monthly features such as ‘Retro Recommends’ (telling you about all the best of the month’s releases), and the new ‘UWIC Band of the Month’. Simple enough.

Now onto the "how you can help" bit. We’re always looking for contributors, whether it be as little as a recommendation for an upcoming album for ‘Retro Recommends’, or a review of a gig you’ve been to recently. Speaking of gigs, if you spot any that you fancy going to and wouldn’t mind writing a short review for, get in touch with the Music Editor (at j.j.may@outlook.uwic.ac.uk) and he will try to sort out a guest-list pass for you and maybe a friend.

If you would like to know more, or if you ever have any suggestions on how to make the music section better, always feel free to get in touch with me via e-mail. Also get in touch if you would like to be added to the Retro contributors’ mailing list, where I send all the details of the latest CD’s we are sent for review.
