Situated next door to the Sports Hall at Cyncoed, the venue is awash with a range of fixtures and features that guarantee something to keep students entertained. By day its a geat place to relax, watch TV, read, have a cappucino, a snack or even a tasty meal. By night it is the setting for live team socials, live sport, pool and darts competitions, drinking games, quiz comps and live DJ sets.
This allows us to put on a great varitey of events, from full fancy dress cheesy disco nights, to stand up comedy. Not only is there a lot on, but there is the potential for much more in the future with the full cooperation with the students in bringing you more events.

Howard Gardens has excelled in recent years as UWIC's best venue for live bands, with regular nights with the family bringing some of the bext in rock and acoustic music to the SU.
A geat alternative to the dance scene of the city centre, Howard Gardens has played host to a great range of events from live circus acts, open deck DJ nights, poi, BBQs in the courtyard and even fire eaters!
The sheer amount of events and bands lined up gives you something to satisfy any musical taste and orientation. And The Family are always looking for new bands, performers and sets to play, so if you have a band and you want to get involved, or you ar einterested in starting something new and exciting get in contact, get involved and keep rocking!
