The UWIC Archers programme offers female basketball players a unique 24/7 performance lifestyle balanced with academic needs and a proud group of people passionate about performance and development.

Focus is very heavily placed on the athlete not just the player. The body and mind are instruments to becoming a better basketball player and the specific conditioning through a range of elite facilities allows every athlete's potential to be reached.
Current training for UWIC Women's Basketball is:
Monday - 8.30-10pm NIAC
Information on the 2011-2012 trials will be posted in early September.
The Archer's infrastructure competes at the top end of British basketball with two National League teams (Division 1 and ) and a BUCS (British University and College Sport) championship winning outfit.
