UWIC Golf

UWIC Golf Club is affiliated to Whitchurch (Cardiff) Golf Club.

The Team is allocated 15 places each year, with a criteria that each members must be a member of a golf club and hold a handicap of 10 or below. (Differing criteria apply to women depending on their ability).

UWIC is charged a £100 membership per head of which the Student Member pays a proportion.

Members can then play all year on weekdays, and all the BUCS matches are hosted there with no further green-fees payable.

The Members, Coimmittee and officials of Whitchurch (Cardiff)GC have been supportive of out Team for the last 5 years, and it is hoped that this will continue in the future.

UWIC have had a number of successful golfers over the years, and many have been able to gain support from the R & A Scholarship scheme.
