UWIC Netball
UWIC has a long standing tradition for netball excellence. We have one of the most advanced sports performance programmes in the UK for netball and this is emulated in the great performances we provide on court. UWIC Netball aims to provide opportunities for all players, both at participation and performance levels. This is acheived by developing five UWIC teams that are incorporated in the following squads:
UWIC Netball is one of the most popular clubs for females at the univeristy, and is one of the few clubs that cater for four teams. Every year the netball club has a large intake of netball players, with annual freshars trial held in the first week of freshers. Please see the events section of the Athletic Union website for details of this years trials. All teams successfully compete in BUCS every year. Additonally to this the 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams compete in the Cardiff and District league every Thursday.
